I get to spend more and more time outdoors, getting more and more accomplished around here. After the weekend a bit of a wintery turn is expected but nothing like the last one.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

Lubbock Sights 9
The weather gets better and better. I do more and more work outdoors. Today I completed stage 1 of a small project. I loaded my vehicle with materials and needed accessories and got it done very quickly. It's all in the planning.
It certainly does help to be STRONG, like BULL! Like OX! Argh.

Lubbock Sights 8
At least this stuff was in the Lubbock area. Over 950,000 Covid deaths in the USA. Numbers still rising but more slowly. The weather here is getting better and better. Russell wrote about a "measurement problem", but his concern seemed to be defining measurements of lengths or intervals. More to the point, in the context of the modern measurement problem, were his remarks on the problem of defining an event. What are the boundaries, for instance? What are the components? The discussion is mostly from the perspective of a logician, of course.
You know, I think some of this stuff WAS in Lubbock.

Lubbock Sights 7
The weather is getting better every day, but whether that matters, I don't know. Ha. Of course it matters. Meteorological Spring has arrived. I am finally re-reading Bertrand Russell's "The Analysis of Matter." Yeah, it's a bit outdated in some respects but still worth reading. Last time I went through it I think I was in high school. This time around I understand more, since I've learned a lot since then. It kills time and it's an interesting stroll through the past.
I'll be doing some of this black and white stuff for a while, and this is not in Lubbock. Close to Lubbock but not IN Lubbock.

The warming trend continues, but so does the drought. I think I've heard that before. Hmmm.
I look forward to accomplishing much today. Many things.
