This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

And Now More Floydada
Downtown and around downtown...
Residential and commercial...
This old Triumph is beyond rescue, I think.
That's a shame.
Lots of ruins in Floydada.
Things were not very lively when we visited. Of course, it wasn't during the big Pumpkin Festival!
That's when things heat up!
We found an elementary school that had been abandoned. That's ominous.
It was a large school, too, but now it is empty. That's all of Floydada. Next time I'll feature a collection of fine cars we found in McKenzie Park here in Lubbock, where a local Chevrolet club had a gathering.

Dead Roses And Floydada, Texas
Yep, first a peek at dead roses in the sink, testing out the Cybershot on macro stuff.
Even though the Nikon is a fine camera, and now even better thanks to that zoom lens I got for it, sometimes I need a compact and light camera I can slip into a pocket, or conceal easily in my car. We do a lot of "stealth" photography. There's nothing stealthy about a big DSLR. But when I can afford to be recognized as a photographer, I use the Nikon. Got a bunch of pics recently in San Antonio, San Marcos, and Seguin, Texas with the Nikon and those will go up here at some point. Meanwhile, let's look at FLOYDADA!
We found old cars stashed all over town!
We never expected this!
Amazing! We found them at several locations.
Vintage cars behind glass...
There will be more of Floydada, in a few days.
