The old parts of town are interesting, and not over-populated. That's where we like to go. This photo series begins on Erskine, north of TTU, and where it ends I am not sure.
We found an old house that seems to have been in use by party animals-- probably juvenile delinquents. Lots of drinking, and probably drugs as well.
We drove on, and found more of our favorite things, like furniture dumped at curbside, and junk cars, and weeds, and abandoned buildings.
What's behind this fence? See below!
It's a junkyard! I LIKE junkyards! I did not enter the property, I merely held my camera above the fence.
And then we moved on...
Old Glory and ribbon wire-- when you see one, can the other be far away?
The Texicans have staked out this place, it seems...
One picture tells the story...
"This junk is MINE!!" Don't mess with a Texican.
Many more pics to go! More explorations of Lubbock obscurities to come!
