Continuing Lorenzo

We drove to Lorenzo in order to look around and to take photos. We had nothing else in mind, but to enjoy the ride.

Lorenzo, Lorenzo.

An old house caught my eye, right away, after we moved away from the old Fords for sale. I don't think this house was for sale.

Clearly, abandoned.

There were plenty of vacancies in Lorenzo, and lots of ruins of various kinds.

You should never assume that what I photograph is "representative" of anything, except what happens to interest me. Period. There's more of Lorenzo to come.


 

Finishing Petersburg, Beginning Lorenzo

Just a few humble homes in Petersburg, and then we'll take a closer look at Lorenzo, Texas. The town was named for the Medici prince, Lorenzo the Magnificent, for some reason...

Goodbye, Petersburg.

Hello, Lorenzo! First thing we found were these old Fords, for sale, and a few other old cars!

 The Lorenzo Water Tower, in all of its magnificence!

 And more old cars, rusting away.

And now, like any tourist, we are just seeing the sights in Lorenzo.

And sights abound!
