Views Of A Local Alley, And A "Furniture Store"!

First the alley:

That's some alley, eh? And now the furniture store...

Actually, they sell a lot more than furniture here, way out on South Slide Road. I need to take the Nikon here next time. I used my wife's iphone, in order to be discrete. If I won the lottery and bought a huge house I might want to shop at this place-- really unique.

I took a lot of photos out here, and could have taken more. I have nothing bad to say about this place. It is worth a visit! I'm giving them a free plug, I guess. Most of the photos I took here turned out to be very impressionistic/surreal.

Finishing Lubbock Airport District Eyesores

Two more images from the dumping ground:

Then we move on to other junk, and as junk goes, this is more to my liking:

I like airplanes!

Tomorrow I'll have some more alley shots, and then something really different!

SO much junk!

We could have explored more but it is very overgrown with tall weeds. Who could know what hazards lurked on this property? We felt uncomfortable as it was. I wonder what the groundwater is like near this site?

I hope no one is drinking from a well near here.

We have a little bit more to go with this before we move on to something completely different.

Delving Deeper Into The Muck

It gets worse as you get deeper into it.

This area is where we wished we had hazmat suits-- there's a black liquid spilled all over the floor here. We were careful not to get any of that on us. We don't understand why nothing has been done to clean up this foulness. This place is wide open-- access is easy. I imagine kids playing in this filth. We're going to show you more of this festering sore in Lubbock County.
