Somewhat Like Winter

We've got a couple of cold days in prospect but pretty nice by the weekend. I've had it up to here with the stupid drone hysteria. Adolescents having fun with toys. Maybe protesting the new FAA rules on RC planes, demonstrating that all attempts to control such activity are going to be useless. That would not surprise me. An irresponsible backlash. A distinction needs to be made between model aircraft, RC fixed wing AIRCRAFT, and gadgets that can dart about and hover-- THOSE are drones, and they are dangerous. RC fixed wing aircraft are an entirely different thing, but federal agencies like the FAA are stuffed to the gills with incompetent control freaks.

I dread the day that Amazon starts using drones for package delivery. Greedy corporations will always be a menace, and will always receive preferential treatment from feds on the take. It's a shame corporate persons are a legal fiction because I would like to see them strung up and hanging by their necks.

Very Nice Day Yesterday

We will have a brief cold "snap" soon but nothing especially severe, for the time of year. Amazing red sky this morning. Sailors take warning. The sunrise looks much like a sunset. That's rather unusual. I'd be happy with a quotidian day, and same old same old.

Who can say, eh?

Flying Cars

You ought to consider what it might be like if flying cars become a thing. Would anyone really want to put up with wealthy twits and buttheads buzzing around in flying cars? Only complete morons would dream up such things. Flying cars! It's Popular Mechanics made real! Buzzzz.

Plenty of sunshine today and comfortable temps. It is a little breezy but not enough to raise any dust. It is what I would consider a nice day.

Drones The Size Of A Buick??

And authorities tell people not to be worried? A drone that big could easily be carrying fifty pounds of fentanyl, to be released and dispersed by the whirling blades above. Something is screwy here. The entire narrative is screwy. If people with bad intentions are assembling these things, then they are having to order the materials necessary, although I have no idea where you could get a battery for drones that size, but orders of large carbon fiber components should show up on the radars of "intelligence" agencies, and the needed electronics, etc. Sometimes "intelligence agency" is an oxymoron. The whole drone panic sounds made up to me. In the 1890's airships of some sort were being reported all over the country. This drone thing smacks of the same sort of hysteria. I think it's silly.

I miss the old flying disks.

Drones?

You hear so much lately about drones or UAPs all over the place, and I guess it just goes to show what a nothingburger Lubbock is, that we seem to have no drone activity here. You've got the nuclear weapons facility near Amarillo, and there are no reports of drone activity in that area. We are so unimportant, that not even Bug Eyed Monsters or Green Beans from Venus, have the slightest interest in us. What a bummer. I believe there's a SAC base near Abilene, and nothing there either. So sad. I take it that we are unlikely to be beamed up anytime soon, if ever.

I guess we'll just have to wait for, get ready-- the rapture! HAHAHAHA! A famous joke, yes? I think it is more likely that the BEMs will get you. By the way, is it possible that there could be a kind of open season on billionaires and corporate executives in the near future?? Would that be dystopian or not? I'm really not sure. Pros and cons.
