This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

Taking It Easy
As easy as possible when you're living in a poorly made dystopian Sci-Fi pot boiler. Implausible characters and a trite plot. All we need now is for Rodan and The Mysterions to make an appearance. Don't forget Godzilla.
THE STAND was a fine novel, a real page-turner. This pandemic is clumsy piece of plagiarism by comparison. And yet, it is all too real. And the bad guys are all too real. When life imitates art, it does it crudely.
A Category 5 hurricane would be a good approximation of Godzilla, I guess... maybe later in the season?

That Garden
An island of tranquility. So little is known about COVID. We need more scientists. Only scientists can answer the questions. One unknown I've considered involves impact on fertility. Since COVID seems to target so many systems, respiratory, circulatory, neurological, and even the kidneys, it will be interesting to see how many who have recovered might be infertile. Does this virus interfere with the male and female reproductive systems? Too early to tell at this point. Could it damage genetic material in sperm and egg cells? Too early to tell. So much research is needed! Science, science, and more science is required. Research is required.
The sunflowers look nice. Anyone who simply thinks COVID is going away is certainly not thinking like a scientist. That's just wishful thinking. And wishful thinking is worthless.
The trumpvirus will probably be with us for a long time, given what we do know about coronaviruses.
I photograph the heck out of the sunflowers. They make great subjects.
