The weekend might be cool and wet. That might actually feel good. It won't be long before it gets quite hot, and probably records will be falling.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

I Can't Complain
I can't complain about the weather-- it's been great. Google Chrome has become a bit of a pain. Rather slow lately. But the weather! So fine! Cool mornings and warm days and just the right amount of cloud cover. Lots of work done, as usual. It might rain again later in the week!

It Rained And Rained!
Yesterday was cold and wet, with rain falling constantly, sometimes light and sometimes heavy. Today it is cool and clear. A warming trend again. And that rain will do a lot of good. It was really needed. Cool, still, but I got out early and worked outside, making some improvements to the general layout. Gained space on the patio after relocating a large planter. I need to buy more potting soil this weekend and look for Lantana. I'd like to start planting. I need more pavers as well.

Partial Eclipse Today
That partial eclipse is very likely to be obscured by clouds, with rain chances increasing, so that tonight and tomorrow will be very wet. Although local flooding is possible, there is nothing severe in the forecast. Well, we do need the rain.
I am not aware of anything new or interesting in Lubbock, or at least, nothing that is of any concern to me. Bird flu still seems to be spreading but not very rapidly and there are no signs of human to human transmission. Probably that is just a matter of time and maybe not very much time. I kept all of my masks and have lots of toilet paper, and MRE's, having learned a few lessons from the last pandemic. Be prepared! Be VERY prepared!
