Very Nice Weather For Thanksgiving!

It will turn a bit cold over the weekend, but after a couple of days of that, it warms right back up. I'd like to see temps way above average next month.

That guitar above is a Bentley with a Floyd Rose set-up. It played well! It sounded great! I must have had some issues with it because I didn't keep it.

This Day Starts Well!

It's sunny and warming rapidly. Light winds and it was only a little below freezing this morning. For late October, very, very good!

It's more old stuff from ever so many years ago. I played with that Whammo Pluto Platter a lot when I was a kid. I was keen on flying saucers. I think I sold it on eBay. It was the original of that toy and I considered it a great find back in the day. This is where the Frisbee thing began, in about 1957.

Another Sunny Day!

But it's a little cool and somewhat windy.

It's old guitars again. Some of these go back to 1978! I mean, that's when I took the photos and that's when I owned them. I do not have photos of every guitar I've ever owned and played. I wish I did.

Somewhat Cool

Partly cloudy with a light rain shower just a little while ago but now clearing a bit and we've got some sunshine on and off. It doesn't look too bad today. Of course, yesterday was terrific.

I guess I'm just exploring some old stuff, old guitars, stuff I sold on eBay a long time ago, and so on. One of those pics is of me around 1968 or so with a Bruno Conqueror, which was not a bad hollow body at all. Floating bridge, like a jazz guitar, single coil pickups. But it got traded in on a candy apple red 1964 Fender Jaguar, and I don't have that guitar any more either.

Terrific Day!

Warm, plenty of sunshine, pleasant breezes-- a fine day for the time of year.

Above I revisit the Lubbock Lights. So much had changed! 19th Street was probably a two-lane road in the early fifties and houses were torn down when it was widened.

About twenty years ago I was out in Southwest Lubbock around sundown and discovered hazy blobs in the digital photos. I tried to enhance them and got this stuff.
