110 F was a record high for the date yesterday. It was bad but not the worst, which was 114 sometime in July of 1995. It's a rough July, for sure.
I ordered a small appliance from AMAZON and it appears to be a defective piece of crap. Fortunately, it didn't cost that much. If I can't get the damn thing to work, I'll just charge it off to experience. Screw AMAZON. I don't have time to go through the process of trying to return it and get a refund. From now on, for any such item, I shop locally. The reviews were generally good, but I suspect they were all fake. Made in China. That didn't help. What isn't made in China these days? Buy a Chinese product and I suspect you are aiding and abetting slave labor.
