It's a boon and not a bane.
I kind of imagine that I'm going to be spending the rest of my life trying to adjust to a new reality, and I don't think I ever will.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!
It's a boon and not a bane.
It's my favorite month with my favorite "holiday" and the weather couldn't be better. May this be a mild winter!
It is being a very good October in terms of our weather. We have had just enough rain over the right period of time and it is cool but not cold and the daytime highs are comfortable.
It's much cooler to do the smart thing and get vaccinated than not. And recent studies show that Covid, all along, has been killing many more Republicans than Democrats, more conservatives than liberals. Certain ideologies and political alliances seem to be genuinely toxic. That should be no surprise to anyone. And I'm not saying that is a good thing. It is never a good thing when someone dies a death, or suffers a severe illness, that could have been avoided. It's also much cooler today than it was yesterday-- yesterday was quite warm but today the skies are gray and wind is out of the north and it is raining off and on. A rather bleak day.
