 Microcosm vs Macrocosm. You have your cosm and I'll have my cosm. Relief from the wind! I guess when the wind blows I can pretend I am in Cannes and the mistral is up. That would take a lot of pretending. 

You have to look at things like this in the right way.

 It's time for a change of pace, and I really like to revisit the past, because for me the past was good, the present is something to endure, and the future looks like crap. And in this revisiting of the past, of places I've been, I want to shift focus and look at a few things much more closely. 

It's the details that count.

 It's been windy around here lately. Not unusual in this area at this time of year.

In other ways, life seems highly abnormal. Like, who dreamed up this shit, anyway? Not me.

No rain but a lot of wind and dust. Par for the course. Texas is drying out. Fires rage in parts of the state. DRY! 

 I guess it could have been worse. We weren't hailed on and there were no tornados in our area. It looks like it'll be sunny today, though windy and on the cool side.

 There is actually humidity in the air this morning. How strange that feels. My sinuses aren't killing me. Severe weather possible? In Lubbock it almost never rains unless the rain is part of a severe weather system bringing damaging winds and large hail. Oh no. Not that. 

I think current events prove that the US does NOT have access to exotic and super advanced alien technologies. If we did, we'd be using them. So much for that nonsense.
