Ah, New Braunfels

 Where the living is good.

I just can't stand the climate. You have to be able to tolerate sticky heat, day and night, during the summer.

It's no wonder they consume vast amounts of ice cold beer down there.

Still In New Braunfels

The town dates back to 1846. German to the core.

These things have been sitting downtown, or close to it, for years. And there was nobody around, so it felt safe to wander around and take pics.

If I'd actually gone downtown where it was somewhat crowded, believe me, I'd have worn a mask. I'll finish with Landa Park, where many improvements have been made, but first I've got this railroad stuff to complete.

Playing It Safe In New Braunfels

Something like 1000 covid deaths a day in the USA. That's a war casualty toll, and a war not going well. I imagine the folks insisting covid is a hoax and not taking precautions are responsible for a lot of this. Sacrificing their children on the Orange Asshole's altar. Notice how covid rages in the Dakotas, where freeDUMB is the top priority. You can be free to stand on the tracks and give an onrushing locomotive the finger. SPLAT!

Here's a locomotive!

Heavy metal.
