Finishing First Series From This Alley

This Lubbock alley, humble as it was, provided me with lots of material. After this set, I will be looking at in color.

Good old alley.

Pipes and wipes and lines and wires and conduits and crud and grime. Walls with peeling paint and rust and decay and trash. And don't forget the dreams.

Next time, I'll be looking at all of this again, but in color. What a difference that will make. Razzle dazzle.

In The Alley

And getting close to finishing the first series of pics. The second series will be colorful.

Now we see the water tower from a different perspective and the happy logo is not visible. It has been vanished, like a David Copperfield trick.

Strange, what you find in places like this.

I think the next time around I'll be finishing this set.

THE alley. THAT alley.

Best alley ever. The vistas were endless.

But it was not entirely secluded when I took these pics. If it had been, the vibes would have been perfect. But you can't have everything.

At this point I was walking slowly back to the point where I entered, trying not to miss anything.

Still Documenting This Alley In Lubbock

As I found it several weeks ago. This has been a long process because I was so thorough.

I think the effort was worthwhile. And I forgot to mention that I used the Nikon for this. I thought it deserved the best camera.

The process will get easier when I switch to the color photos.

Nice And Safe In An Alley

While everything falls apart, let's continue in this alley.

And I do mean seriously that everything is falling apart. I never thought I would be happy to be "old", but times have changed.

This stuff is an example of a vanished, orderly (by comparison), world that might never exist again. Seriously.
