In the same location.
This is actually not far from the Stubb's BBQ memorial, and I need to revisit Stubb's.
I was also very near the South Plains Fair area. Will there be one this year? If so, what will it be like?
I think of the times I got carry-out BBQ from Stubb's, and I realize it was a very different world then. So much simpler. Less screwed-up. I will continue this next time.
I've been there before but I didn't photograph the same things.
The thing above is not a ghost, but an improvised rain shield above a homeless person's encampment. You find these all over, these places where one or more homeless people shelter, or try to shelter-- I keep running into them because I go to these out of the beaten path places for my photos. It's something I have to be aware of.
So I didn't stick around as long as I would have liked.
More from this area next time.
I took a lot of photos in this spot, but not every photo I could have taken. It is just unwise to linger very long in areas like this.
I'll explain why in a future installment.
So many more photos could have been taken here!
Next time.
I don't know any other way to describe what I'm doing. And the subject matter is always of interest to me.
Interesting, yes? No?
And, there will be more from this and other locations. Same types of things.
Some odd things have happened. I'm having to repost.
This sort of thing seems to take the best photos. I can't explain that.
There. That starts a new series. I hope I won't have any more do-overs. Maybe I'm getting close to my content limit. Just in case, I deleted some things.
