Recent Lubbock

I found another abandoned building and took photos there.

Apart from the photos, I just like the feeling I get around places like this.

Always interesting to examine the debris as well. More of this still to come. From this location and from others.

More Recent Views Of Lubbock

This stuff I have never examined before.

It looks run down enough.

And, it was isolated enough and deserted enough.

Returning To Recent Views Of Lubbock

Not a minute too soon.

The blog interface tells me where the visitors here are located. I still get lots of visits from Russia, of all places, a country where the COVID-19 infection curve is still spiking up exponentially. I wonder whether I should worry about getting thrown out of a window-- just kidding. Ha. Ha.

I am happy to have views of Lubbock to share again!

Now Some Photos From The Backyard

And after that, a lot of nostalgia.

I didn't remove all of the old sunflowers because I needed safe perches for the birds.

Of course, I've got new stuff coming up. It'll be a jungle again.

And one night I tried to get some photos of a full moon through some trees.

So here is some nostalgia. Home for summer vacation after one year at TTU, although it was TTC then, and I've got my first electric guitar, a Bruno Conqueror.

Some More Views Of Lubbock

That big old cotton seed oil mill or processing plant--

It's big!

Looks like a place where you could climb lots of ladders and walk on a lot of catwalks!
