Looking At More Lubbock

I'm just staying in one small area for this current series.

Lots of people drive through here at various times, but I'm sure none of them really SEE anything. It's my job to SEE things. And SHOW what I SEE. See?

Details, details.

More of this in the future, with the proviso that the future might at any moment be suddenly cancelled. Wise to keep that in mind.

Finishing Santa Land Exploring Lubbock

Yup. We are moving on from Santa Land. Santa all over.

This is it for Santa Land 2019. We have come around to the entrance again. Now for more Lubbock.

I've never checked this area before.

It was worth a look. More next time.

Continuing Santa Land 2019

It's a definite walk-around.

The backside is fenced in.

I won't be finished with this until I get to the front entrance again.

It's The Day After Christmas

And we are back in Santa Land.

Since it was not officially open and there was a cop car in the parking lot, I decided to just do a walk-around.

Of course, by this time, Santa Land is probably undergoing demolition, until next year.

As usual, it comes across as a mish-mash of fantasies. Children are dazzled by this, I guess. Or confused. A good preparation for adulthood.

I found this good sized hole-- a great way to stumble and fall or break a leg while wandering around out here in the dark. Imagine someone carrying a small child on their back, stepping into this hole. I guess you could try to sue the city-- and good luck with that. Their attorneys would eat you alive.
Superman on fire? Condemned for heresy?
Nah, just the parks and rec folks burning trash.
What would Christmas be without Superman and Batman? For that matter, what's a Christmas without Peter Pan and Tinkerbell?? Keep the kids confused, that's the motto. They'll be easy prey as adults. More Santa Land next time!
