Finishing Playa Lake, Moving On

So, like I said the last time, I did not disturb the guy living in the little trailer, and I moved on to a Truck Wash-- for BIG trucks.

Lots of junk back there.
This was parked at the Truck Stop. And on another day I took some pics on the south side of town. I was on 98th Street.

Obviously agricultural and lots of cotton out here. Irrigated cotton.

Out in this direction it is several miles to the next town, which would be Tahoka.

I did not go that way. I turned north.

A Playa Lake Behind A Truck Stop

I wanted to check it out since it had rained a lot and it might look fairly decent.

It didn't look very good at all, due to the abundance of trash. In fact, I thought some of Lubbock's numerous homeless might have been staying in the area.

You can't expect the homeless to pick up after themselves. I wandered around some more, but cautiously.

Sure enough, I found a little trailer tucked in among some trees, and there was a guy outside who obviously lived there. I pretended I hadn't seen him and wandered away to photograph other stuff. I felt that he deserved his privacy.

Some MORE Of That Lubbock

Looking around.

I was at the Wind Power Center. They were closed but I got these shots from outside the fence. Someday I'll go when they are actually open. Someday.

It was a damp and cloudy morning. Next stop was a playa lake tucked in behind a truck stop. That turned out to be more interesting than I expected.

More Of That Lubbock

Random views.

We are still in that alley.

But now we've moved on.

So, "Intimate" Views Of Lubbock

I decided to check a residential alley, more or less covertly.

I trust I invaded no one's privacy, since anyone driving along that alley would see much more than this.

I'll finish this alley next time and move on to more interesting things.
