More "Great Stuff" In New Braunfels

Remember when Johnny Carson used to say: "Great Stuff!" Well, this is great stuff.

For me, a photographer's paradise.

I'd like my backyard to look like this, but the city's code enforcement people would not allow it.
In Lubbock they like things nice and sterile, dull and straight-laced as the city. No imagination allowed.

Oh well. New Braunfels beats Lubbock as a place to live and work in a thousand ways. No, ten thousand ways. Lubbock's only virtue is the low cost of living, but, in a paradoxical way, you pay a high price for the low cost of living. I'll finish the awesome junk collection over the weekend.

Continuing New Braunfels

Is this stuff really junk? I don't think so. Can't think of a good word for it. At any rate, I like it.

It's an awesome collection of whatever it is, that's for sure.

A lot of this stuff I would like to hang on my back fence and scatter around the backyard.

But even if I could afford to buy everything I wanted, hauling it back to Lubbock would be a problem.

The closest thing to this place in Lubbock is "Lucky's Antiques" and it does not even come close. More of this fascinating place next time.

More Interesting "Stuff" in New Braunfels

This is a tremendous place to browse around, and lots of people were doing that, and some were even finding things they wanted to buy.

Prices were high for me, but lower than I've seen elsewhere for similar things.

The challenge for me was to do this stuff some kind of photographic justice.

I might as well mention that this seems to have been an antique store's back lot storage area.

It was fascinating to explore, and I'm not done yet. I could have taken many more photos but I had to draw the line somewhere.
