Yes, recently we re-visited Plainview and I lurked about with my camera. We found new things to photograph there.
We had to go almost to the edge of town to get some interesting things.
We didn't bother to learn what this structure was for.
I used the Nikon in Plainview, and exercised the telephoto.

We go here and we go there, to bring the most interesting images to a global audience! It is a nice hobby, and it is informative as well!
There is one place on University that never lets us down. It is a bit hard to get to now, because of street widening, but we hope it never disappears behind a fence. We hope it will never be replaced by sterile residential crap.
Why, these things qualify as ARTIFACTS!
