At least the prairie dogs are doing well. They are numerous out here, big and fat and happy. In that respect they are like the empty-headed fat cats who run this city.

Next time, a close look at one of Lubbock's desolated "industrial" zones. In some parts of town it seems that code enforcement is non-existent. Large tracts of land within the city limits are being used for nothing. Virtually every house appears to be on the verge of collapse. Illegal dumping is rampant.

It's an old ABANDONED house, a virtual ruin, in an old neighborhood in what is called, in New Braunfels, the "West End".
