Yep, we decided to take another look at this little town north of Lubbock. Abernathy has its share of abandoned homes and derelict businesses. I checked out a few alleys, since these are often more interesting than the main streets.
These places always turn out to be more colorful when viewed through the camera lens...
But it was a great place to visit!
In the photo above, you can see the place where we found these cars. It's on 114th Street, east. You can't miss it. Visit them. Buy something. Buy these old Cadillacs and restore them!
It was the Fourth Of July, and hot as hell's bells but it was fun photographing these old cars! I just hate the idea of these old classics rusting away. Somebody please restore them! Bring them back to their lurid former glory!
